Hindu wedding ceremony and reception in New Orleans
I got so many compliments on my unique dress! Color, fabric, billowing outer skirt stand out. Cons: I'm petit and pear shaped, and found this dress to be tight on my lower half and loose in the top half, making it uncomfortable.

It was a formal American wedding followed by Sangeet, a traditional hindi celebration
high end fabric, tailoring is very flattering for my larger behind and thighs. The floral design on the top is a little dated, but on the plus side, I didn't have to wear a necklace with it. I'm 5-2 and the dress came down to mid-calf.
