I was excited to wear this dress to graduation, but it looked too much like a costume. The sleeves were awkward (as mentioned in other reviews), and the dress itself was too heavy to wear on a hot day.

I'm 5'6", about 145 lbs (pear-shaped) and the MR fit really well! It was a little loose in the chest, but not enough to be noticeable. I had to wear a shoe with a heel (I wore 2" wedges) or else it would have been dragging, but I didn't mind. I don't usually think maxi dresses are flattering, but I wanted to try this print, and I was attending to a wedding where I wanted to cover some leg tattoos. I got a ton of compliments, and I didn't feel uncomfortable with the slits as some earlier reviews mentioned. They might be a problem if you were going somewhere windy, but they were great for a summer wedding. My only complaint is that the dress I received was missing the hook closure in the back, so I had to safety pin it closed.
