I had to go up a little in size because the dress is fitted through the hips, but the fabric was surprisingly stretchy and therefore still easy to walk, move and sit in. Definitely hard to raise your arms, but I expected that based on the design. I was very impressed by how well the dress stayed up compared to strapless dresses I have had in the past. I don't think I needed to pull it up at all over the course of the evening! As others have said, it runs a little on the shorter side, I am not tall (5' 4'') and don't wear significant heels and the dress didn't reach the ground. Some commentors mentioned not needing a bra, but I did not find the built-in boning to be enough and wore a strapless bra.

This dress is incredibly easy to wear. I was able to wear a normal bra under it (it was a slight push-up/plunge bra, but that probably wasn't even necessary), no strapless or sticky bras to mess with all night! The skirt moves beautifully and I had a mostly easy time walking in it and really only struggled when dealing with a lot of stairs (there is a lot of fabric in the skirt to try to hold up gracefully, but it doesn't make the dress heavy). Because the skirt is so flowy, I ended up wearing a size about 1-2 smaller than normal, because I didn't have to worry about the fit around my hips (no Spanx needed!), and could focus on the fit around the bust. I will say though, the dress definitely highlights your bust, so if modesty about cleavage is a concern, this may not be the dress for you. I also found the length to be perfect, I am about 5'5", wore 3 inch heels and the regular length just barely grazed the ground.
