I rented this dress as a back up, but ended up wearing another one to the wedding since this one was not formal enough. Although I did not wear to the wedding, this dress fits like a glove. I would buy it if rent the runway had it on sale. It's definitely a staple.

This dress was perfect for the fall wedding at the Vineyard. Unfortunately, I didn't have a strapless bra and my straps kept popping up. Also, in certain angles I looked like I had a food baby. This was not the look I was going for. I even wore Spanx. Overall, it's a very pretty and comfortable dress, but it does not hide stomach bulges well.

This is a beautiful dress! The lace is gorgeous and has gold thread details. I wanted to wear this for an outdoor fall wedding and picked the perfect metallic gold heels to go with the matching thread. When I tried on the dress, it was perfect everywhere but the shoulders. I am 5 foot one and the sleeves kept falling off my shoulders. My best friend thought it looked too "80s prom-ish" due to the sleeves constantly falling off the shoulders. This dress will be perfect for somebody who is taller or has a fuller chest.

The dress came on time and it was neatly packed. I was disappointed because it came in a plastic (dry cleaner type) bag rather than the usual black fabric-zipper bag that I'm accustomed to receiving. I tried both a size 4 and 6. The 4 looked better than the 6, so I stuck with the 4, but the 6 definitely felt better on. The pockets were an added bonus; who doesn't love pockets!? My husband loved the color on me and took several photographs. Unfortunately, I will not be posting any because I didn't wear Spanx with this dress and it made me look a few months pregnant. My only advice for future renters would be to wear Spanx if you have them and stand up straight for photographs. In 3 of the 4 photographs, I looked pregnant because of the way the fabric fell.

I wore this dress to a summer wedding when I was ~4 mos. pregnant. I'm usually a small, but with my baby bump, the zipper didn't zip comfortably around my stomach. Therefore, I chose to wear the medium-which was a bit large in several places. I used the complimentary double-sided tape for the top of the dress in several places (near my arm pits, and shoulder). The tape saved the day! I am 5'1" and usually wear above-the-knee length dresses. Initially, I was concerned that the Medium size was going to be too long for my petite frame, but since I was pregnant, my baby bump made the dress just the right length. Overall, everything worked out. I would recommend HL dresses to anyone who isn't scared to show off their body. The bandage dress was form fitting and the fabric gave a bit of stretch while still having a high-quality aesthetic. My only complaint is that you can tell that this dress has been rented many times because the fabric lost its elasticity in several places (shoulders/arm/bust area).
