This was actually my backup dress for the Grammys, but since it fell so close to V Day I decided to opt for a shinier number for the show and this one for V Day Dinner. I am a huge fan of Herve Leger, and I really liked the cut and fit of this dress- I could wear it to dinner, actually eat, and still feel sexy enough for a date yet modest enough for a family-friendly restaurant. A size small fit, but for my purposes the medium was just the right amount of sexy and modest. I have a full chest so the cleavage is not lost with this dress but the only mild annoyance was that the sleeves were a tad loose, but not so much that it was unwearable- or unbearable! The color is not quite what I expected- in fact maybe even a bit boring. I tend to prefer other HLs that have an extra pop in terms of a sort of sheen in the fabric, but again I liked the understated sexiness and versatility of the dress. Happy renting!

Rented this for the Grammys. Sleeves were a plus since it was chilly outside and besides, who wants to carry around a jacket or shawl? It definitely fit the bill- lots of celebs and guests opted for sequins as well, and I think this is the perfect medium between being flashy and comfortable. Normally sequin outfits worry me because they are uncomfortable when sitting or moving around but this dress is SO comfy AND the sequins stay put! Also, for curvier girls like myself the dress accentuates the bust and behind quite nicely but not overtly. Only gripe (and possibly not RTR related) was that another girl ONE row behind was wearing the EXACT same dress! We both wore it differently, and I must say, great minds think alike!

This dress was my primary choice for NYE- the only size available at the time was a M but luckily I had another zip front HL as backup. This dress runs very small- I could barely fit my boobs into the top (I'm a 34 C) but the rest of the dress did squeeze everything else nicely. I ended up wearing the other HL in a small instead. Too bad since I loved the way this dress accentuates curves, especially with the V-shaped bands at the waist. The other HL was also pretty revealing when it came to cleavage so if you're full chested I would keep that in mind if you're considering zip-fronts. I've worn an HL similar to the V dress and I think that accentuates fuller chested chicas a bit better. Happy renting!

I was very impressed with this dress. It was my backup NYE choice, the other being another HL but that ran way too small and couldn't hold my cleavage the way I liked- it exposed quite a bit as I am a 34 C. While the cleavage in this dress was also quite revealing, it was still comfortable. If you're worried about a bra I would keep that in mind if you choose this dress- I wore the nu-bra like stickies (no extra padding) and the clasp showed through just a tad but met where the zipper ends right under the bust. Although the dress flairs on the model, the small was tight enough so there was no flair at all but it did show on me with the medium. The cut out in the back is super sexy and a nice surprise, and I got quite a few compliments on the dress. I highly recommend this one, ladies!
