Would have been perfect in higher quality fabric.
The fabric is that of a heavy Henley shirt. For a short with so many details it looked very odd.

Common Fault: Can't Zip Around Bust
This happens to me a lot with Rent The Runway items whose fabric has zero stretch: I can't zip up the dress because my boobs are too big (Size D) for the design. Everywhere else fits great. I just end up with the SMOOSHED effect. So. Back it went.

Too Cutesy For Power Meeting.
This dress is very flattering on and would be perfect for a summer night casual event. I rented it for work, and it was too flowery to project the image I need to project: one of power. Gave it 5 stars because it really is a super great dress, just not for what I need.

Inconsistent Details
The arm details were so flattering and attention-getting, but the front closures? It's like they spent all their money on making the arm detail fabulous, so they chose the WORST closures: magnetic interior snaps. As a result, the front gapes and pulls oddly, but NOT because it's too small.

I wore this to work for casual friday with fitted professional pants and ballet flats, then wore it to lunch on Saturday with a more casual legging and a big wedge! Fabulous!

This *might* be the perfect dress.
This dress was perfect. It showed off my strong legs and was fitted at the waist but not uncomfortably so. The faux wrap adds visual interest. Wear something opaque under, either boy shorts or leggings, bc it's that short.

Middle-Age Middle Spreading? You Might Need Spanx.
Super flattering, with fun detail along the bottom. I wore with cropped cardigan on a cool evening and it was a nice look. I have that middle-age middle spread thing happening and it was tight through the middle but every other place fit perfectly! Wear some spanx and you'll be all set.
