feminine, but a wee bit edgy
This dress runs large, but it is also very stretchy. I wear a 10 or 12 in most dresses, but had previously rented an 8 in this. The 8 was gone, so I tried my luck with a 6 and it worked. It is warm, like other reviewers say, but I wore this in 65 degree weather in humid Austin, TX and it was fine (even through hours of dancing). It is easy to move in, not too short, has pockets, and is overall very comfortable. I never once had to be mindful of it or think about adjusting anything. The sleeves were cut strangely, though - tight up near the shoulder and large at the wrist. Take that with a grain of salt, though, as I was wearing a size too small.

So so small
I rented this for a wedding, and while it is extremely lovely, it ran so small I was shocked. I almost always wear a ten, but this nearly didn't zip. I had other dresses overnighted because this fit so poorly. The cutout in the back is beautiful, but unless you have a super sexy back, I wouldn't recommend it. I've worn other back-less(ish) dresses that were cut out in better places. The shape and the boning in the bodice are perfect and flattering, but the cutout is simply in a poor location for my body type.

fun and flirty
This dress is a lovely periwinkle and is made very well. The heavy zipper up the back makes it fun and a little less dainty. I have a large chest (G cup) and the dress fit snugly there, but the waist was still a bit loose on me. It also showed a fair amount of cleavage, so beware, but know that the dress is tailored well enough that it makes your cleavage look really good (mine, at lease!). The arm holes were fine and I could wear a regular bra with it - which is really the reason I rent any dress!

Excellent Tailoring
I didn't end up wearing this dress because I didn't like the narrow cut of the shoulders. It almost felt like a mock racerback top so I just didn't have a bra that would work with it. The tailoring is impeccable and makes the dress lay perfectly. The fabric is thick but neither hot nor bulky. The waist sits very low and for someone with a short torso, it wasn't a flattering look. Ultimately the dress is crafted very well and would look wonderful on the right body, but a short torso and large breasts isn't quite the right type. If you have a long torso, this would be a great dress.

light & feminine
I got an unbelievable amount compliments on this - some even from boys. I wore it with salmon colored earrings and pumps which made it super fun. I have quite a large chest, so it was snug up top, but it fit my G boobs and only showed a little cleavage. The waist fit me well and wasn't too large. The bottom is loose and flowy, so someone with larger hips could wear this also. BONUS: I could wear a regular bra with it and it has those little bra strap snaps. It was the perfect length on me, so someone fairly tall might find this a tad short (12s are usually quite long on me since I am average height). I actually rented this dress twice because I loved it so much. I wore it to both a more casual couple's shower (with flat sandals) and to an outdoor rooftop wedding at an art museum.

I wore this backup dress to a semi-formal event. I struggle to wear dresses without tailoring, so if that is your problem, this dress is quite flexible in the fit. It was large, not the most flattering, and the fabric felt fairly low quality. I wouldn't rent this again.

This dress is very well made and the fabric is luxurious.
I didn't end up wearing this dress because it wasn't roomy enough for my bust (but not many dresses are). So despite how beautiful it is - even more so in real life - I couldn't wear it. If you have a large bust, you should probably rent something else.
