I wore it to a work event and although form-fitting on me, it was still appropriate. I got many compliments on it, and felt great in it! I have big hips, so the L was tight getting on the hip area, but since I have a slimmer waistline it fit perfectly. The XL was too loose in my waist. I highly recommend as this can be styled up or be worn more causally.
