A very nice dress for work and evening out.
Very comfortable dress, especially since I get cold easily. This is a heavy fabric, so if you run hot you won't like it. Me, I wore a little black sleeve camisole underneath the dress and it was great for early New York winter. Dressy enough for evening out, but also a very, very good office dress.

It's a great dress! Little schoolgirl fantasies came out with husband!
Dress does run small, so I ordered the 10 and it was a great fit. (I have a big ribcage.) The dress I received was a little worn, but still looking glam. My tragedy was that I did not take note that skirt is BLUE not black -- so I had to wear a slubby dark blue sweater to match it instead of a nice black jacket with my outfit. Another night I wore a little black sleeve underneath it with black tights and it looked fine for a more casual cocktail night. I got many compliments both times I wore it. Only wish dress had looked a little fresher.

Brazilian birthday party! I needed festive with a flair - the dress delivers! Beautiful dress.
This was the perfect dress for a festive, samba dancing birthday party that I threw. I wanted to look amazing, and the dress added so much! Worn with a stiletto black heel and flashy earrings, I got compliments all night long. Perfect dress to rent as I would never probably wear again. Heavy-ish material, very rich looking. Not a flimsy dress. I wear 8-10 and this was a wee bit large as a size 8 for me. There are some odd indents at the breastline which are great but you might need a special bra. Very, very happy with the dress for the occasion!

Wanted a nice Thanksgiving dress, nice tailored and comfy to wear in brisk, cool weather. Got it!
I felt dress was a little snug on me; although I not busty it felt tight across bust (I do have big ribcage.) A 10 might have fit better, but the 8 looked really nice. Again, little tight in my arms, which are pretty muscular. Very flatteringand got compliments on it. A great work/office dress but beautiful enough to wear to an evening event. Heavy material if you get cold (as I do.) If you run warm, this dress will be an oven for you.

Rented as a general cover up for holiday party season. Cut very attractively in the front. Odd back.
I didn't mind the fact that the front was longer than the back of the jacket. But I did not pick up on the fact that the back is gathered and has an elastic bottom, sort of like a track suit. It made the jacket not quite dressy enough to use with a nice cocktail dress, even though it is very nice material and quality. I ended up using it for a girls' night out with some jeans, which is the right place to wear it. Little tight across shoulders but I am broad-shouldered. Because of the bunched-up elastic back, I did not think this is a good formal piece.
