This was just a beautiful true red, and a very flattering shape especially for a pear or hourglass shape. It gapped a bit in the chest area when I sat down, so I did pin it. The slit was only noticeable when I twirled around, which I was really tempted to do at all times because of the beautiful floaty feel of the fabric. Wish it were in more colors, would love to see it in green!

I felt a little like they would fall off so I found myself adjusting them somewhat frequently, but I thought they had a cool look. Probably wouldn't wear them as a bridesmaid cause I wouldn't want to be distracted.

Wore this dress for an engagement lunch my mom and I threw for my sister and her fiancee. It was a pretty comfortable fit, although I agree with the other reviews that it's a little looser in the chest and shoulder area. I thought the 18 fit me well, but looking at the photos, perhaps a 20 would have laid a bit better to get the proper ruching/pleating effect. Got a lot of compliments - everyone was shocked when I told them it was rented. My sister (in white) also rented her dress from RTR.
