Banded waist, similar to jogger pant elastic tops
Would have been better as a zipper/button closure at the pant top instead of an elastic band. The elastic band made it feel too tight and the length is long for petites. I needed to tape them up.

It was tight in the chest and I'm not a large-chested woman. good length for petites. Felt like I was going to scrub in for surgery in this.
