Love this dress! Second time renting, I’ve worn an 8, and a 10(size 8 fit a little better but the 10 is pictured). The fabric is thick, so I didn’t need to wear a bra/sticky boobs, it’s a little tighter around the neck and armpits, but overall a great fit. Love the open back and and high/low bottom. I received so many compliments on this! 

I LOVED this dress and received compliments on it all night long! True to size, great fabric quality, loved the sexy open back, and the color was unique. The fabric was actually a white fabric with red thread design, so it looked pink from afar. When I walked the wind picked up the high/low train and billowed behind me! Dress handled a whole lot of dancing as well. Definitely recommend!!!

Perfect for a formal family wedding. Slightly tight after eating but otherwise fit like a glove for pictures and the rest of the night. Wore with 4’’ wedges.

This dress was so comfortable and fit perfectly. I got so many compliments on this dress throughout the entire evening. This dress is sturdy and held up throughout all the dancing! Some reviews I read said the dress was too warm/thick for a summer wedding. I did not feel that way, the wedding took place June in Florida, and it was awesome! Best thing, I did not event have to wear a bra!!!! I will definitely be ordering from RTR again! 

I loved this dress. I'm a 34DD and was able to wear with no bra as the dress is fitted and has thick material. I got lots of compliments and felt beautiful dancing the night away!

the dress is pretty thick fabric. not ideal for a hot wedding day affair. Didnt have to wear a bra.i got compliments all day. 

I love this dress!  It’s beautifully constructed with attention to details. The fabric is heavy but not cumbersome. I am short waisted with long legs and I was a little worried that it wouldn’t fit but it was fine.  I didn’t wear a bra but I don’t need one. If you’re larger chested you might need something for support.  I paired it with nude pumps and a vintage white beaded bag.  And it has pockets!

Loved this! Tempted to buy. I've got an hourglass with swimmers shoulders and broader hips and this fit perfectly- bodice fit well and the waistline flared at just the right spot. 5'10" and the length was good- if you were 5 or so inches shorter it might drag in the back. The back is a lovely open cross strap- bulged a bit where the straps join the bodice and if it were mine I'd have it tailored in that seam. But otherwise perfect. Useable pockets. Quality fabric. LOTS of compliments at Derby!

There is a tiny bit of gaping in the lower back- but that could just depend on your body type (I have a broad back/shoulders). Also, found that I needed to pay attention to my posture because it starts to look like a maternity dress from the side if I don't stand up straight! All in all, beautiful dress, excellent fabric, no need for a bra!

I wore this great dress for the Bridal Luncheon the day before my daughter's wedding.  It was perfect!  The fabric is heavy to hold the shape of the skirt. So many compliments.  Not something I would every purchase. What a terrific one time wear!  Winner!

The size 2R was a perfect fit with no bra. The fabric is heavy but extremely elegant and easy to wear. I was so excited to wear it to a formal wedding but the event was canceled due to COVID. I will definitely order for another occasion

I typically wear a size 6 but ordered this dress in a 4 because I have a smaller chest and wanted it to fit nicely with no bra.  It was perfect.  The length is just right for dancing but still long in the back to feel formal. The zipper was a little tough to pull up, but my husband was able to come through for me.  The back is so pretty. I received compliments all night long and didn't want to take it off! 

I wore this dress for a formal wedding in Savannah. I have never received so many compliments!! So fun to stand out in a sea of black dresses. My usual size 8 was unavailable so I sized up to a 10. More room for eating and dancing... no complaints! I wore a sticky bra due to the back being open. Overall a 10/10 best RTR unlimited experience I have had!!!

I absolutely love this dress and wish I owned it permanently. The material is super thick and sturdy and extremely comfortable which made it perfect for a southern spring wedding. Only minor issue was that the straps in the back gapped a bit on the bottom. You couldn't really see with my hair down and a shawl on but that is the only thing I would watch out for. Other than that, the fit was amazing and super flattering. 

This was my first RTR! This dress was BEAUTIFUL!!! Fit so so well. Material was heavy but didnt weigh you down. Just felt like a good quality dress. Got so many compliments on this dress. Would definitely rent it again!

The dress was awesome and I received so many compliments! The fit was true to size and a perfect thickness for a winter wedding. I was a bit worried it would be too long as I am 5"4 but with heels, it was a great length! I definitely recommend this dress for a wedding as the bottom half is perfect for twisting and turning on the dance floor. 

This dress fit like a glove!  For the record, i am 5'8", 140 (ish) lbs, 34b.  I did wear a strapless, backless (adhesive) bra.  So comfortable and very high quality.  Loved it!

Great dress! Ordered the 4 and 6, both fit.  The 4 was a little snug on top so the back strapes gapped a bit at the waist.  6 fit perfectly and didn't gap as much.  The length was a little longer in the back than I expected but not too long.  Fabric is thick, which I liked.  No bra needed, I was a little worried about that but I felt comfortable all night and it didn't feel like I didn't have a bra on.  Highly recommend!!

I enjoyed wearing this dress and received several compliments.  It is well structured and thick enough that you dont need to wear a bra. The only negative I felt was it was very thick. I kept saying, "I feel like I'm wearing a quilt. I normally wear a size 8 and thats what I went with.  I am 5'8", 160lbs and wear a 32DDD.

This dress is FABULOUS.  It's a gorgeous, luxurious material  that is thick without being too stiff.  The high-low hemline is fun and is flirty while feeling princess-like. 

fit true to size, and was not too long in the back which was my concern (i am 5'4). received so many compliments throughout the night, and once I found out there was pockets, it was even more perfect. will definitely rent again for any event, super classy and thick enough fabric for me to stay warm on a cold florida night. 

The fit was fantastic. I didn't wear a bra and still felt totally secure--even while dancing my butt off at a wedding. My chest didn't look saggy or weird or anything since it's a thick fabric. As someone who is on the shorter side, heels were a must. The pockets were amazing! Love love love this dress!

This was my first RTR experience, and I was really nervous about getting my dress so close to the date of the #wedding I was attending. Everything worked out great! I'm normally a 6, and that size fit me perfectly. Got tons of compliments! 

This is my second time renting this dress (once for a wedding and now for an executive cocktail party). It is a major statement while not being too loud. 100% recommend

Wore it to my sons wedding, the fit was perfect at usual size and wore with short heels. It was great for an outdoor wedding. 

The material is so gorgeous and fits well. However it is much thicker than it looks so it can get quite warm. 

This was my mother of the bride dress and it was perfect in every way. I loved the detail on the fabric, the unique back, and the way it was shorter in the front and longer in back... perfect for being right on the edge of a petite height as most dresses I tried were too long. This is definitely for smaller busts and shoulders and went over my not-so-small hips beautifully! 

I loved the fabric, look, and fit of this dress. It was very comfortable and flattering and I got so many compliments all night. Complete strangers were saying "I took a picture of the back of your dress for you! It's so beautiful!" The fabric is thick enough and the waist supportive enough that I didn't need a bra. A really beautiful dress!

This dress was absolutely fabulous! I loved everything about this. It was very comfortable so may dancing was not compromised. The back was sexy AND it has pockets. I got so many compliments! I am also short (5'2'') and the length was not an issue at all. 

The fit was almost perfect, just a bit of a bulge in the back between where the skirt waist meets the crossed back. Otherwise a perfect fit (the bulge was something no one would notice). I received so many compliments on this dress from people who I have never met! But honestly, if I hadn't received any compliments I still would've felt like a 10. The dress is an absolute stunner and extremely comfortable 

I loved this dress online & it was even better in person.  Although it was snug on me, it was still surprisingly comfortable & looked great.  No bra needed due to the thick material.  If I were to rent again, id size up to the 6.  

We had a black tie optional wedding; it was a perfect for a summer chic event. My husband started tallying the number of strangers coming up to us to compliment the dress! 

This was a little tight at the neck but really cute and mostly comfortable. I was planning to wear it to a wedding, until my husband pointed out a fabric bulge on the side by the waist. I haven't worn a dress with crossover straps in the back before, so maybe that's why. 

Wore this to a major event in DC and ladies I’ve never met stopped to tell me how much they loved my dress - I felt like a queen!! My friends told me to buy it. I’ll definitely rent again, but I think I could size down one. The chest was a bit loose for me.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is I had to have it pressed when I got it because the bottom wouldn’t lay right, and the back gapped a little at the sides so I had to pin it. 

I rented a couple of options and this one felt more like fabric for furniture and just not that nice of a fit for my more athletic build. It could be elegant on the right girl. 

Super thick material that sometimes falls a bit awkwardly. Because it was thick however I didn’t have to wear a bra with it. It did smush down my chest though. Wore to a wedding in Spain. 

perfect material and fit for a more formal wedding. was concerned about the thickness of the material for a summer wedding in dallas, but it wasn't too hot or heavy. also love the pockets. i want to own this dress and wear it everywhere. 

Absolutely beautifully made dress!  Fit is great, fabric thick.  High/low length too long for petite frame.  I am 5'1.5" and the back hem was at the floor.  Style would be 5 stars if they had length options:  petite, regular, long.  

For was true. I was worried about the length because I am only 5’, but it was not an issue. The dress was so flattering. It was heavy and hot, but I didn’t mind. I wore this to a black tie wedding in New Orleans and danced like a maniac.

LOVED this dress. Wore it to a wedding in Thomasville, GA in May. It was perfect with tall nude heels. I cannot usually wear a dress without a bra, but the sturdy, thick material made it easy to wear braless and the back was so pretty. I would highly recommend! Fits true to size.

Fit was snug around the waist, which hit at my lower rib cage. Definitely one I would err big on rather than small. It worked well for me as a tall woman with a fairly athletic/straight and narrow build. The skirt fell pretty long and it worked great with heals. The fabric is heavy; I don't think I'd wear this one in the summer.

This was a great experience! The dress fit well and was super-comfortable, and I loved that it got to me a few days in advance so I could try it with different shoes and accessories. I'll definitely look at RTR's offerings for my next fancy event.

As far as fit details go, I'm 5'5" and about 240 lb. and the size 20 was just about perfect, even a little loose on top thanks to my pear-shaped build. I wore a stick-on backless bra underneath, but I don't think it's really necessary  -- the fabric is heavy enough to provide coverage. 

The shoulder straps were big. I had to pin for the perfect fit. 

Plus size apple shape women please read! I'm a solid size 20 wherever I go & I was drowning in the top of this & even a bit in the waist. I was kinda shocked at just how large the top of it was especially since I am very large chested. The fabric photographs as pink but the lace is definitely red. The stitching and fabric is really lovely though & had I sized down a bit this would look great. It was 4 days late but only because of hurricane & customer service was great at resolving everything.

I got a ton of compliments on this dress! I loved everything about it! The fabric is very high-quality and soft. It was thick enough to where I didn't need a bra, and the back is open, so a bra would have been difficult to wear anyways. The dress hit perfectly at the waist and hips, and it has pockets! I cannot recommend this dress enough!

I loved the fit of this dress. I read the other reviews and ordered a size down as my backup. I should’ve gone two sizes down so that I wouldn’t have needed as bra (had to add a bandeau which messed up the backless effect).
